Darinka has worked in the financial services industry for 8 years. She built a financial practice from scratch by focusing on the needs of her clients and providing value. In particular, she works with small business owners. As a business owner herself, Darinka understands the issues that they face. She also works closely with a variety of professionals and industries. Darinka takes pride in going the extra mile to ensure her clients are taken care of and receive the right financial plan and strategy to support their goals for generations to come. Many of her clients were referred to her by existing clients—a reflection of the quality of service she provides. Darinka’s accomplishments have been recognized in the financial industry and in the press—most recently by Forbes Magazine in 2022 where she was honored to be named as one of the best Financial Security Professionals in Illinois.

Darinka graduated from DePaul University with a bachelor’s degree in international business with a concentration in political economy. Outside of her business, Darinka deeply cares about her community. She is actively involved in her community, her church, and serves as a Community Catechist Leader for SPRED-Chicago (SPRED assists persons with developmental disabilities). Blessed with three beautiful children, her oldest, Ellis Lora-Arceo, decided to follow in her footsteps—he’s now a business partner in DLS and financial advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC. Darinka’s middle child is a successful tennis player at Drake University, and her youngest is a talented teen figure skater. In her free time, she continues to be a full-time mother and loves spending time with her family, cooking, and playing tennis.
